After an alarming incident in Bielefeld's shees on Monday morning, December 9, 2024, a 67-year-old driver was determined who had hit a child and then fled. The driver of a student transport car was on Jöllenbecker Straße at the time. When turning into Telgenbrinkstrasse, he caught a 10-year-old boy who stepped onto the street between waiting vehicles.

Although the boy was slightly injured, he quickly got up and continued his trip to school. However, the driver continued his journey without stopping or taking care of the injured boy. The police emphasize that leaving the scene of the accident is considered a traffic accident in such a case, even if no serious injuries were found.
