Vandalism and robberies: watchful citizens urgently wanted!

In the night from Wednesday to Thursday there was a significant vandalism incident in Weingarten, in which 22 cars were damaged in Kornblumenstrasse. An unknown perpetrator destroyed the exterior mirrors of 21 vehicles and poured potting soil over another car. The damage amounts to several thousand euros. The police ask everyone who has information about the perpetrator to report on Tel. 0751/803-6666.

In addition, a 74-year-old pensioner in Lower Bending was the victim of a robbery. Two masked men violently penetrated his apartment, challenged cash and slightly injured the man before they fled. The police are looking for witnesses who saw suspicious people or vehicles at night. Several traffic offenders were also caught: a 74-year-old driver was alcoholic, while a 19-year-old was under the influence of drugs. Both had to leave their vehicles and undergo blood samples.
