In the night of the Nieder, a suspected break-in of a jewelry business was prevented in Kassel-Lower-wire. Unknown perpetrators tried to penetrate the roof of a shopping center on Frankfurter Strasse when an alarm was triggered. Immediately the burglars fled without prey.

The police immediately initiated extensive search measures, even a police helicopter was in action, but the search was unsuccessful. Investigators of Commissioner 21/22 are now asking the public for help: witnesses who noticed suspicious people around the shopping center during the night. The attempted slump occurred around 2 a.m. and left an estimated damage of around 15,000 euros, caused by the violent opening of the roof. How the perpetrators came from remains unclear.
