Traffic accident statistics 2024: St. Ingbert on the safe side?

In 2024, a total of 1,277 traffic accidents were reported in St. Ingbert - a decline of 2.59 % compared to 2023. Despite this positive development, the number of accidents increased from the influence of alcohol and drugs by 3.03 % to 34. However, the most common causes of accident remain constant: inadequate security distance, excessive speed and precautionary attention to most incidents.

In the St. Ingbert police inspection, 316 accidental escape were also registered, 114 of which could be informed. An analysis has identified five critical accident sites, including the L 126 and L 235, known for game accidents. The police and the city's road traffic authorities continuously work together to identify potential dangers in road traffic at an early stage and take suitable measures. However, the comprehensive evaluation of the accident statistics is still pending.
