Injured cyclists flee in Bergisch Gladbach after accident - police are looking for witnesses!
On Friday, March 7th, there was a dramatic traffic accident between a car and a cyclist around 3:05 p.m. in the Heidkamp district. An 84-year-old driver of a VW wanted to turn on Bensberger Straße when a cyclist came towards him who was illegally on the sidewalk. The collision ensured a violent fall of the cyclist, which apparently slightly injured.
Instead of assuming help, the cyclist-described as a male, between 40 and 50 years old, slim and about 1.75 m tall-ran away towards Richard-Zanders-Straße without taking his bike! Witnesses had helped him before, but now the fleeting cyclist is looking for. The total damage is estimated at around 1,200 euros. The police asks for information and asks the affected cyclist or possible witnesses to report on 02202 205-0.
