Caution, trick thieves! Senior outwits in Duisburg!

On Thursday afternoon, February 20, the Duisburg police were called for a shocking incident in Steinstrasse. An 86-year-old man reported that an unknown perpetrator who spent himself as a waterworks had reached his apartment unauthorized. The wrong craftsman persuaded the senior to go to the bathroom to check the heating. While the senior was distracted, the perpetrator took the opportunity and escaped with valuable jewelry and cash.

The injured party described the man as about 1.80 meters tall, slim, with beard, a gray hat and in supposed work clothes. The police have initiated investigations and asks for information from the population to stop these criminal machinations.
