Grebendorf, Deutschland - This morning there was a dramatic incident in Grebendorf when the veterinary office of the Werra-Meißner district tried to confiscate several animals from a homestead. The 63-year-old animal owner reacted aggressively, pushed the driver of a commissioned animal transporter and threatened to get a weapon. The Situation escalated so that the authorities were alerted and the police were brought in.
In view of the impending danger, the police requested the special task force. After hours of negotiations, the man could be arrested around 5:00 p.m., but not without any minor injuries.
