Theft in Wismarer Zoo: Police hold young perpetrators

At night there was a unfortunate incident in the Wismar zoo, which shook the community. Unknown perpetrators broke into the zoo and looted two machines, with cash being stolen. But the perpetrators were quickly caught.

Around midnight, the Wismar police received a hint about the slump and reacted immediately. When the officials arrived, they saw a group of young people leave the zoo. On site they found that two machines had broken up.

Other emergency services took up a group of young people between the ages of 14 and 16 near the zoo shortly afterwards. They found evidence that pointed out to their participation. The three girls were handed over to their parents and must now be responsible for suspected serious theft.

The damage incurred, according to initial estimates, amounts to a high four -digit amount. The further investigations by the criminal police are underway to clarify all backgrounds of this sad incident.
