Construction site at Arthur-Scheunert-Allee: important changes in traffic from September
From Monday, September 2nd, 2024, the Arthur-Scheunert-Allee in Bergholz-Rehbrücke will be blocked on half-sided due to construction work. This measure has a direct impact on bus line 611, which is diverted, which influences daily commuting in the region.
The diversion concerns the trips towards Potsdam, BHF Rehbrücke. These buses end before the confluence of Arthur-Scheunert-Allee and Beethovenstrasse at a provisional stop. The trips to Saarmund, Nudow and Tremsdorf also have a new departure place at the same replacement stop. The diversions lead via Beethovenstraße, Schubertstraße and on Buchhorst, which also leads to the Bergholz-Rehbrücke stop, Verdistr.
Details about the diversion and timetables
It is important to note that the switch -up for passengers that depend on trams and other buses of the VIP and the trains are extended. Due to the necessary connections, the departure times have been brought forward by one minute in the further course of the timetable. Especially in the night hours and in the morning, the line in the direction of Potsdam, S Central Station is run in a more cumbersome route. The Potsdam stops are moved to Erich-Weinert-Straße on Moosfenn, while the Potsdam, BHF Rehbrücke and Potsdam, BHF Rehbrücke/South stops are no longer served.
However, there are some trips that are not affected by this diversion. These buses continue to run on the regular line path and stop at the Potsdam stop, BHF Rehbrücke. The corresponding departure times are 03:40 and 4:40 a.m. from Potsdam, S Hauptbahnhof (Monday-Friday), as well as 6:59 a.m. from Potsdam, BHF Rehbrücke (Monday-Friday during school time) and various departures on weekends and public holidays. For all passengers who rely on public transport, it is advisable to find out more about the current timetables and any changes before starting the trip. The corresponding information on the construction drivers can be found on the website www.regiobus.pm or in the VBB Fahrinfo. Information on the diversion is particularly important to avoid inconvenience and time losses, while the construction work is carried out and the region's infrastructure is improved.
