Potsdam becomes smart: digital measuring stations for better climate protection!
Steinstraße 104-106, 14480 Potsdam, Deutschland - The Stadtwerke Potsdam (SWP) drive the digital transformation as part of the "Smart City" initiative and rely on innovative sensor data to combat climate change. From now on, visitors can learn more about digital measuring stations at a free seminar on October 17, 2024, which, for example, monitor CO2 content, temperatures and soil moisture in the city. Under the leadership of the IT architectural leader Andreas Becker, practical applications are presented and interested citizens are invited to discuss.
The seminar takes place in Potsdamer Steinstrasse 104-106, house 14, in the cafeteria. Pre -registration is required and can be made on the website of the "Initiative Transparent Digital City". Potential participants should hurry because the places are limited! The urban data platform and the Lorawan network are key projects to efficiently collect and evaluate climate-relevant data.
