Karstädt celebrates Oktoberfest: beer, dirndl and a murder fun!
Karstädt, Deutschland - The Oktoberfest was celebrated in the Löcknitzhalle in Karstädt - and that in the whole of Bavarian style! Visitors flocked, many in dirndls and lederhosen to enjoy the festive atmosphere. The diversity of the outfits was particularly noteworthy: while 16-year-old Louna Seemann appeared in her specially bought dirndl, her family members did not wear traditional costume. Christopher Breß and his wife Michaela, on the other hand, only got suitable clothes two weeks ago to try the Bavarian tradition.
The festively decorated hall was a real eye -catcher with long beer tables, and the band "Back to Music" created a exuberant atmosphere, even if the brass band was missing. Gorden Strecker, who has been organizing the Oktoberfest for 24 years, announced that the 25th anniversary celebration will take place next year. "Success is impressive," said Strecker, while the visitors obviously had fun. The event has developed on a fixed date for numerous fans who not only come from the community, but also travel from far away to experience the Karstädter Gaudi.
