Perleberg celebrates success: Bürger budget brings a breath of fresh air!

Perleberg, Deutschland - The city of Perleberg celebrates success as part of its community budget, which was launched five years ago. In recent years, the residents have implemented numerous projects, including the 725th anniversary in Quitzow and a colorfully painted bus shelter in Düpow. In the recent vote on the community budget in 2025, participation rose to 7.44 percent, which shows the growing enthusiasm of the citizens.

Among the eleven projects that were submitted for 2024 have already been successfully completed: the anniversary celebration in Quitzow, a mobile market stand for Schönfeld and a table tennis plate in Groß Buchholz. The mobile market stand, which was used for the first time at the Rolandfest on September 7, comprises two pavilions and a slush ice machine. 50,000 euros are available annually for the entire community budget.
