Jasmin Rosemeyer takes over the helm at the badminton association
On July 6th, the association day of the Badminton Association (BWBV) took place in Rastatt. After an intensive debate about financial issues, the election of the new president was due. The previously provisional incumbent Maike Seitz did not start again and was adopted by the club delegates with standing ovation.
The assembly approved a temporary increase in premiums by 2026. This is intended to ensure the financial stability of the association and reduce the contributions in the event of success.
After a short break, a surprising turn caused a sensation. Jasmin Rosemeyer from SSC Karlsruhe suddenly declared himself a candidacy for the office of BWBV President. With unanimous support from the clubs, she took over the rudder for the next four years.
The long -time Vice President Karlheinz Hohenadel and Detlef Tasol were also confirmed in their offices. Hohenadel is devoted to width and school sports as well as public relations in the district of North Baden. Tasol remains responsible for finances.
Supported by experienced presidium members and a new managing director, Jasmin Rosemeyer starts her term with the clear goal of successfully leading the BWBV into the future and continuing the positive developments of its predecessors.
The choice of the new President marks an important milestone for the association, which, led by Maike Seitz, has already given new impulses and initiated a positive development. With Jasmin Rosemeyer at the top, the future of the BWBV seems to be promising.
