Knoting B 3/L 608 in Neumalsch: Construction work start on November 4th!

From November 4, 2024, the hub of the B 3 / L 608 in Neumalsch will be extensively renovated! The work takes place in three sections and include the renewal of the asphalt layer on the L 608 up to 12 cm and up to 20 cm on the B 3. The entire construction measure costs around 3.5 million euros and is expected to be completed by mid -December 2024.

In the first construction phase (3a), the L 608 north of the north of the knot is fully blocked, while traffic on the B 3 can continue to flow on each side. The traffic of Durmersheim is diverted via the K 3737 and the B 36. For pedestrians and cyclists, a detour route is set up, including a traffic light for the safe crossing of the B 3. During the second construction phase (3b), the L 608 south of the node is also fully blocked, and two bus stops are converted barrier -free. The B 3 remains accessible with a temporary traffic light system. In the last section (3C), the B 3 is blocked on each side in the direction of Ettlingen, whereby the traffic is alternately managed.
