High -class horse breeding: Exciting foal show in Fronhofen on July 13th!

an exciting day for horse lovers in Fronhofen!

On Saturday, July 13th, Fronhofen opens its goals for the annual foal show, organized by the Ravensburg horse breeding association. Large and small horse fans are cordially invited to admire the talented foals on the riding facility of the Fronhofen riding and driving club from 8.30 a.m.

The foal show not only offers insights into the breeding quality of the animals, but also a special highlight for the little visitors: Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. there is the opportunity to free the pony riding. An offer that was very well received last year and will certainly attract many enthusiastic children this time.

About 70 mares proudly present their foals in front of a strict judge committee. Your quality of movement, type, correctness and overall impression are meticulously assessed. The foals are divided into different groups, from dressage and jump-emphasized foals to riding pony and old Württemberg foals.

The foals of the foals come from successful stallions from all over Germany. Every breeder dreams of winning the coveted gold badge for his foal. After the presentation, the winners and reserve winners are chosen, with attractive prices such as cover vouchers.

An important and at the same time exciting component of the foal show is the identification of the foals by a chip, which is implanted under the skin by the expert from the Baden-Württemberg horse breeding association. In contrast to the earlier method of Schenckelbrand, the chip is preferred today for animal welfare reasons because it enables lifelong identification of the horse.

For the horses and breeders, the foal show is an important event that requires a lot of preparation. The animals are lovingly cared for, brushed, combed and optimally presented for their first public appearance.

Admission to the foal show is free and the physical well -being is taken care of. Lunch is offered during the lunch break to enable all guests a pleasant meal. Current information about the Ravensburg Horse Breeding Association can be found on the website www.pferdezuchtverein-rv.de.
