Rams defeat HSG Langenau/Elchingen II with 28:27 - excitement until the end!
After a last setback in Feldkirch, the Ravensburg handball players celebrated a narrow home win against HSG Langenau/Elchingen II. On Saturday, the Rams triumphed in a gripping duel in the district league with 28:27. Trainer Chrisha Hannawald was able to put on a full bank except for the injured and sick actors, while Langenau/Elchingen bought three players from the Württembergliga.
The first half was balanced, with the Württembergliga vourer Lars Zacharias kept the guests in the lead with ten goals. Ravensburg laboriously spotted her points, but her solid defense and the strong goalkeeper Valentin Ehrat kept the deficit within limits. In the second round, the Rams increased noticeably, developed a small tour and provided enthusiasm among the 100 spectators with gripping actions, such as the Kempa trick by Moritz Ewert. Shortly before the end, the Ravensburg lead melted on a goal, but the victory stayed at home. With the balanced point account, the next away game in Bregenz is now coming up.
