The TowerStars test game fails: fans receive reimbursement

The Ravensburg Towerstars, a team in the DEL2, are faced with an unexpected challenge shortly before the start of the season. The last test game, which was to take place on Sunday against the GCK Lions from the Swiss League, was canceled. The reason for the sudden decision lies in a number of illnesses that severely affect the Swiss Club.

On Saturday morning, the leadership of the tower stars was informed by those responsible for the Zurich club about the situation. The GCK Lions are therefore unable to set up a playable team, which made the cancellation of the test game inevitable. This could be a bitter disappointment for the players and the coaches, since the last opportunity to adjust to the game before the start of the season is now lost.

Reimbursement for tickets and Livestreams

The fans who were looking forward to the upcoming home game were asked for understanding. In an official announcement, the association said that all tickets and live streams already acquired will be refunded. The tower stars assure that further information on the refund will follow in the coming days.

For the Ravensburg TowerStars, this is an unfortunate time, as the preparations for the new season are always expected to be aware of the new season. The team had prepared to show their performance under competition conditions, but the health and well -being of the players are now in the top priority.

With the start of the season on September 13th, this is also a critical moment for the preparation of the players. The pressure to present yourself well under these circumstances does not become less. The trainers will now endeavor to adapt their players to the new challenges as best as possible, despite the lack of experience of the test game.
