Welzheim: Hobbyilot helps to find a fleeting horse in the air
Last week, a horse escaped its owners in Welzheim (Rems-Murr-Kreis) and caused excitement. The horse owner, desperately looking for her beloved Haflinger with a blond mane, turned to the local airfield. A hobbypilot, Martin Görtz, who had just made a round with his plane, did not hesitate to look for the outlier out of the air.
an unexpected aid mission from the air
Martin Görtz received a precise description of the run -down horse and picked up from the airfield just a few minutes later. His focus was on fields and open areas to find the horse quickly. Finally, he discovered the horse in a field and immediately contacted the owner to guide her to the right place. However, it became exciting when the horse fled into a forest and the persecution became more difficult.
The dense leaf roof in the forest also hindered the view of the hobby silot, but he kept hope that the horse would reappear. Fortunately, the Haflinger appeared on a country road, which led to a sensitive situation when several cars had to brake abruptly to avoid a collision.
successful rescue operation and happy ending
Despite the challenges, Martin Görtz managed to safely lead the owner to the horse, and the animal could be captured unharmed. Thanks to the quick reaction of the hobby silot and working with the owner, the search ended happily without injuries. Martin Görtz was pleased to have done a good deed with his hobby, and even offered to offer the horse owner a flight on the plane.
