Five injuries in the event of a terrible frontal collision on Uferstrasse

In the event of a serious traffic accident on the Uferstrasse in Glücksburg on Sunday evening, five people were injured, including a child. The exact cause of the accident is still unclear, but there was a frontal collision between a Ford Focus, which was occupied by three people, and a Hyundai with two occupants. Investigators suspect that one of the vehicles got into oncoming traffic. The cars were so badly damaged that they had to be towed, which the police are currently examining.

The rescue control center quickly reacted to the emergency call and first sent an ambulance and an emergency doctor from Flensburg to the scene of the accident. Due to the severity of the accident, three other ambulances were requested. All five injuries were admitted to the Diako Hospital after the first aid on site to rule out serious injuries.
