Solar boom in Rendsburg: Nature against energy transition in conflict!
in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district was a remarkable increase in photovoltaic systems. According to reports from kn-online.de, 4806 new solar systems with a total output of almost 220 megawatts have been installed during this period. The district continues to lead the ranking list in Schleswig-Holstein, although there is a decline in around 600 plants compared to the previous year.
The district of Pinneberg follows in second place with 4004 newly installed systems, while Segeberg takes third place with 3760 systems. In the municipalities of the district, between ten and 60 new facilities were often built. In the cities of Eckernförde, Gettorf, Rendsburg and Bordesholm, over 150 solar systems were installed, while Flintbek added exactly 150 plants. It is striking, however, that in some municipalities, such as Gettorf, solar systems were also dismantled, with most of these dismissals with ten plants in Gettorf.
criticism of current development
Another aspect of the expansion of solar systems concerns the infrastructure. The increasing extension could subsequently lead to an overload of the power grid. In order to counteract this, Schleswig-Holstein plans to build around 120 new substances and about 1000 kilometers of high-voltage lines by 2030. In addition, around 9000 kilometers of new middle and low-voltage lines are planned.
In the Rendsburg region, 18 specialist companies have been identified for photovoltaics, and there are 16 projects in Rendsburg and the surrounding area, as Energie-experten.org reports. These developments indicate a growing interest in renewable energies that are reflected in the number of installed systems.
