The traditional barrel roll was held on Friday evening as part of the 37th Reutlinger Herbstes, a highlight of the wine village, which attracted many onlookers. This year there was an interesting novelty: In addition to the traditional hosts of the wine village and the already experienced fire brigades from Reutlingen and Aarau, the Reutlingen police also entered the competition for the first time. This new participation ensured additional tension and diversity in the field of participants.
The fire brigade from Reutlingen, which already has some experiences in the barrel roll, ended up third place, while the Reutlingen police performed an impressive performance and took second place. The fire brigade team from the Swiss twin town of Aarau once again demonstrated its strength and became the proud winner of the event. After the victory in 2022, they were able to win the challenge cup again and display their skills in the barrel roller.
Especially stamped Silvio Müller from Aarau, who was the fastest participant in the evening with an impressive time of 23.49 seconds. His performance was rewarded with enthusiasm by the spectators. The mix of sporty competition and social gathering made this evening an unforgettable experience for the entire community.
