Brühl starts safely: I-Dötzchen with warning vests for dark ways of school

In Brühl, the students of the 1C of the Astrid Lindgren School were equipped with reflective warning vests last week to increase their safety on the way to school. Mayor Dieter Freytag, together with a member of the state parliament, Gregor Golland and other representatives, handed over the West to the presence of traffic safety experts from the Rhein-Erft district police authority.

The beginning of the new school year and the upcoming dark months make such measures particularly important. The warning vests increase the visibility of the children, especially in the early hours of the morning and dusk when the risk of accidents increases significantly. This initiative, which is supported by sponsors such as the Rhein-Erft-Verkehrsgesellschaft and the Kreissparkasse Cologne, aims to ensure that the children come home safely to school and back, even if the seasons change.

Mayor Freytag expressed his thanks to the sponsors and always wished the little students a safe arrival on their ways. More about the campaign can be found at www.rheinische-zwärblaetter.de .
