The Rhein-Erft-Kreis police are on the hunt for unscrupulous perpetrators who entered apartments on Monday, October 21, in Brühl and Frechen. The burglars were wrong as craftsmen and stole cash and valuables of unsuspecting victims. A remarkable incident occurred in Frechen when an alleged heating fitter rang and gained access to a woman's apartment.

The approximately 35 -year -old and slim man, described as 1.80 to 1.85 meters tall with a light beard, became the history of water damage. While the resident let water run in the bathroom, the perpetrator took the opportunity to steal jewelry and disappear undetected.
