Terrible crash on B45: Two vehicles badly damaged!

On Friday afternoon, around 3:45 p.m., there was a dramatic traffic accident on the B45 near Mauer, in which two cars collided. According to initial investigations, a 61-year-old Volvo driver got into oncoming traffic due to a second sleep and collapsed head-on with the Skoda of a 44-year-old. The impact was so violent that both vehicles were rotated and then came to a standstill in a ditch or on the road.

The two drivers were slightly injured and brought to nearby hospitals for safe medical clarification. On both vehicles, the Volvo and the Skoda, total economic damage of around 10,000 and 5,000 euros occurred. The B45 was closed until around 5:30 p.m., which led to slight traffic disruptions. Emergency services from emergency services, police and the volunteer fire brigade were on site.
