Führerschein Online: The exchange in the Rhein-Sieg district is so easy!

The Rhein-Sieg district has modernized its online services for driver's license applications in order to facilitate the exchange of old driving licenses. Since this month it has been possible to conveniently apply for digital compulsory exchanges and the international driver's license. To submit the application online, the applicants need a valid ID card or passport, the previous driver's license and a biometric passport photo. The fees can also be easily paid by a credit card.

The legally prescribed exchange of the old driving licenses takes place and affects the years from 1971 by January 19, 2025. So far, 50,000 driver's licenses have been exchanged, with 7,000 applications being processed via the new online portal. Interested parties can call up all services at Rhein-Sieg-Kreis.de/online services and require a bundid account.
