on Sunday morning, September 29, 2024, there was a shocking incident in Neustadt on the wine road: a BMW crashed into a parked car while parking backwards in Weinbergstrasse and then turned out of the dust. Witnesses watched the accident, whereupon the police were quickly on hand.
Thanks to the read license plate, the officials managed to find the fleeting driver on his home address. The shocking discovery: the alleged person who caused the accident was heavily alcoholic! A breath alcohol test resulted in a value of 1.07 per thousand. The police immediately took a blood sample and initiated criminal proceedings. The incident throws a bright light on the dangers of alcohol at the wheel and shows that drivers who flee can ultimately be caught!
