Razor under drugs: Police stops fleeting drivers in Bad Hönningen
On Monday, September 30, 2024, a 29-year-old driver in Bad Hönningen was targeted by the police. When the officers wanted to stop him, the man ignored the attitude signal and raced away with his vehicle. In doing so, he disregarded another vehicle's right of way, but got away without a collision.
After a short persecution, the police officers were able to stop the fled car and check both the driver and his 40-year-old passenger. Initial investigations showed that the driver was presumably under the influence of narcotics. Therefore, a blood sample was taken from him and the driver's license was temporarily withdrawn. The vehicle was secured.
