Rapid escape after accident: Police are looking for witnesses in Kestert!

On Friday evening, October 4, 2024, a traffic accident occurred on the B42 at 8:28 p.m., shortly after the Kestert from the Kestert from Sankt Goarshausen. The driver of a white Mercedes-Benz E-Class was apparently too fast and got on the oncoming lane, where he collided head-on with an oncoming car. The impact was so violent that the opposing vehicle was no longer ready to drive and had to be towed.

After the accident, however, the person who caused the accident went out of dust and fled towards Kamp-Bornhofen. Witnesses of the incident are urgently asked to report to the Sankt Goarshausen police inspection. The damaged left -wing reflection of the fleeing vehicle could indicate the identity of the driver.
