Drama on Wormser Straße: Car ends up in the German railway track!

This afternoon at 5:00 p.m., the Mainz fire brigade was called for a dramatic effort: A car came from Wormser Straße for reasons that have so far been unexplained and slipped into the German railway bed! Immediate measures followed-the railway line between MZ-Roman Theater and MZ-Weisenau was closed, and numerous emergency services including the police and emergency managers from Deutsche Bahn rush to the scene of the accident.

The happiness was on the side of the occupants! Both were able to free themselves from the vehicle independently when they were looked after by courageous first aiders until the emergency services arrived. Fortunately, the driver and front passenger were unharmed. A total of 17 emergency services were on site, including 10 members of the Mainz professional fire brigade, who reacted quickly and efficiently.
