Three mountain rescue operations at the Spitzingsee: hiker in need!
Spitzingsee, Deutschland - On Sunday, the Schliersee mountain rescue guard experienced a dramatic rush of missions on the Spitzingsee. Within a short time, the rescuers had to supply three injuries after an unexpected crowd of hikers rolled over the region. The first assignment concerned a 21-year-old MountainCart driver from Diedorf, who was seriously injured in a fall and was brought into the valley with a concussion and various bruises. Despite the helmet, she suffered several wounds.
As soon as this incident was clarified, a 52-year-old reported from the Rosenheim district, who had injured the ankle while hiking. Due to the remote location, she was flown to the hospital by helicopter. As if that weren't enough, there was another effort when a 65-year-old hiker from Schweitenkirchen also fell and injured herself on the ankle. She had to save the mountain rescue service with an off -road vehicle from a difficult location. The mountain rescue guard advises hikers to take into account the strong temperature fluctuations and the shorter days when planning their tours in order to go into the mountains safely and well prepared.
