TSV 1860 Rosenheim: zero number against TSV Kastl despite superiority

In the sun -drenched Rosenheim, a special football game took place in which the team of TSV 1860 Rosenheim had to compete against TSV Kastl. After an exciting, albeit goalless meeting, the teams separated with a 0-0 draw. In high summer temperatures, the focus on the field was rather poor, and the level of the game was anything but exciting.

The greatest opportunity for the guests from Kastl resulted in the 25th minute: a back pass that was too short ensured that Hannes Langenecker ran towards the domestic goalkeeper Goia alone. But he showed an excellent reaction and was able to ward off the shot. On the other hand, the home team had their best chance in the 33rd minute. Edis Muhameti vigorously advanced on the right side, served Julian Höllen in the back, but goalkeeper Andreas Peller kept the hit.

opportunities and lack of consequence

In the second half, the "Sechzger" were clearly superior, but the required consequence in the play and the willingness to make decisions lacked in order to convert the - quite existing - possibilities into goals. Several promising attacks ended unused, which the frustration on the home team could only increase. Despite the greater possession times and superiority in the game, the end remained at the empty score.

The installation of the Rosenheimer was quite defensive, with Goia in the goal and a defensive series that showed hardly any weaknesses. In midfield, players acted like Muhameti, Markulin and Summerer who were supposed to initiate the attacks, while hells at the top tried to overcome the opponent's defense. Even if the boys from coach Petar Kostić went to work with a lot of commitment and will, it was not enough for the decisive goal.

For the fans, the summer roles and the narrow division of points were up and down of the emotions. Some experienced moves were shown during the game, but in the end they did not remain crowned with success. The spectators hoped for more consequence in the coming games to collect the necessary points against supposedly light opponents such as TSV Kastl and increase the level of the game.

The decision to keep the point in Rosenheim was obvious, but without the necessary reprint in the end, the upcoming games will be a real challenge. It remains to be seen whether the Rosenheimers will be able to build on their strengths in the next game and will park the defects mentioned in their playing style.

The last two games have made it clear that TSV 1860 Rosenheim has the potential to win games. But the team has to learn to better use the chances and to bring more focus into their achievements. With fresh approaches and a clear goal, the next attempt could deliver better results.
