Professional triathlete Elena Illeditsch ready for her fifth start at the Challenge Roth

The Neumarkt professional triathlete Elena Illeditsch is preparing for a sporting challenge that will lead her to her limits. Next weekend she will take part in the legendary long distance triathlon Challenge Roth for the fifth time. For the ambitious athlete who works in everyday life as a department head in an engineering office, the 3.8 kilometers of swimming, 180 kilometers cycling and 42.2 kilometers are an indispensable part of her passion for triathlon sports.

Elena Illeditsch feels well prepared in training. Despite the challenges that the weather in the form of heavy rains brought with it, she trained disciplined to be optimally prepared. The rain has often accompanied her, but the athlete did not prevent this from preparing for her competition.

In addition to training for the Challenge Roth, Elena Illeditsch has already participated in a triathlon competition in Mallorca this season. There she took a respectable 17th place and was satisfied with her performance. The competition served as an important preparation for the upcoming challenges and motivated the athlete to continue working hard.

Despite the intensive preparation and the anticipation of the Challenge Roth, Elena Illeditsch has also experienced some setbacks. At the beginning of June, a triathlon had to be canceled due to floods, which affected their competition preparation. Nevertheless, the athlete remains positive and focused, because for her the joy of sport is in the foreground.

After the Challenge Roth, Elena Illeditsch has further competitions in her calendar, including a middle distance competition in Erlangen and the Challenge Sanremo in September. In addition, she plans to join an extraordinary challenge in August, in which she will complete the Challenge Roth on 120 consecutive days. This challenge will continue to test your limits and inspire you to top performance.
