Theater an der Rott: Hope for federal aid for millions of renovation!

The planned renovation of the theater on the Rott in Eggenfelden is on the brink after the application for federal funds was rejected from the "Kulturinvest" program. Nevertheless, there is a little glimmer of hope. Max Straubinger, the CSU member of the Bundestag, has made a written request to the federal government in order to clarify the reasons for the rejection and to determine whether a new consideration is possible next year. The answer came quickly: Claudia Roth, the Minister of State for Culture and Media, said that the project was not taken into account due to the exceeding of the program. However, there is the option of submitting a new application in the future, the budget legislator should provide funds in 2025.

Straubinger cannot be discouraged. He emphasizes that there is a female eligibility and there are no factual reasons for the rejection of the application. According to Straubinger, the decision was made in favor of other projects, and he is vehemently committed to the fact that the application for funding "will finally be approved in the next round".
