Kreml rejects Kiev Waffenruhe proposal-Ukraine alerted!

Kiew, Ukraine - The Kremlin rejected the ceasefire proposed by Kyiv to 30 days. Kremlin spokesman Dmitrij Peskow said that a few questions would have to be clarified before a long -term ceasefire can be considered. President Vladimir Putin supports this position and had already formulated conditions for a possible 30-day ceasefire in March, while US President Donald Trump made a corresponding proposal. The conditions include that Ukraine must not use the period for reorganizing its armed forces or for reimbursement and that western armaments deliveries are hired to Kiev. On the other hand, it was not talked about similar restrictions for the Russian military.

Putin also ordered a three -day ceasefire for the days around the World War II commemoration from May 8th to 11th for humanitarian reasons, which was referred to as "gesture of good will". During this time, the victory parade will take place on the Red Square, which among other things is also expected to be China's state and party leader XI Jinping. In Kyiv, however, this announcement was seen as a fraud attempt to simulate willingness to dialogue. Ukraine reacted with the demand for a long -term ceasefire. Peskow made it clear that this was not an answer to the Russian proposal and that it remains unclear whether Kiev was willing to go into it.

peace suggestions and skepticism

Federal Defense Minister Boris Pistorius critically commented on the cornerstones of the US proposal for peace in Ukraine, which he compared with a surrender of Ukraine. He emphasized that Ukraine may have to accept area losses for sustainable peace, but not to the scope of Trump's current proposal. Pistorius pointed out that Ukraine could have accepted similar conditions a year ago and warned that Russian commitments have often been worthless in the past. His skepticism also extended to the ceasefire announced by Putin during the anniversary celebrations at the end of the World War II.

In a sign of hope, however, there was an agreement on a partial armed rest in the Black Sea between Ukraine and Russia. Both sides have agreed to ensure safe shipping and prevent violence. While Russia is willing to implement the Arm?

negotiations and bilateral relationships

In Saudi Arabia, extensive discussions took place between US and Russian pacemas, which took more than twelve hours. The aim of the negotiations was the termination of the Russian war of aggression and the restoration of bilateral relationships. In this context, the new US government put pressure on Kiev to convey a quick peace, which could possibly result in concessions regarding NATO and territories.

The situation remains tense because Ukraine emphasizes that the arms rest apply immediately and that it will contact the USA directly in the event of any violations. The developments of the coming days will be crucial to understand in which direction the conflict could develop. Both sides seem to be located in a complex mixture of negotiations and military strategies.

While the geopolitical tensions increase, the question arises in the room whether permanently stable peace between Russia and Ukraine is possible in the near future. The eyes are aimed at the next steps, both on the Russian and on the Ukrainian side.
