Speed controls in Saarland: It gets expensive here!

In the coming week, the Saarland police will carry out extensive speed controls. From Monday, October 14th to Sunday, October 20, 2024, various locations in the region are affected, including the BAB 620 motorway and the B 51, where countless drivers are put to the test.

Especially on Monday there are several important routes on the program, including the BAB 620 between the Saarbrücken and Saarlouis motorway connections as well as the B 406 between Sinz and Oberluken. There will also be numerous controls on Wednesday and Friday, with control points being set at the focal points of accidents to increase traffic safety. The police point out that, in addition to the announced controls, further measures are possible at all times, which makes the situation extremely hot this week.
