Rapid chase: 19-year-old without a driver's license in Püttlingen!

In an exciting chase in the early morning of October 6, 2024, a 19-year-old man from Püttlingen, who was without a driver's license, was caught illegal use of a car. The Völklingen police discovered the vehicle in the city center, but the driver ignored the stops and fled with breakneck speed through Püttlingen, Riegelsberg and Saarbrücken-Burbach. During the rapid escape, he overtook other cars and raced over red traffic lights.

The persecution was so dangerous that the police stopped using the uninvolved. On the morning of the same day, the emergency services discovered the vehicle with fresh accident damage at the driver's address. The young man now has to answer for several crimes.
