On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Saarbrücken experienced a robbery -like afternoon attack! An armed man in peace and quiet attacked a casino, a petrol station and a bakery on Mainzer Strasse. In doing so, he managed to capture a four -digit sum in the bakery while he went empty -handed in the other shops. Despite immediately initiated search measures, he was able to escape.

But the perpetrator returned on Wednesday, September 25th! This time he penetrated the same bakery again - but his stitch was different this time. With a screwdriver in his hand, he again demanded cash. But the matter took an unexpected turn: a brave witness recorded the persecution, captured the perpetrator and brought him back to the bakery, where he gave the money back. Nevertheless, the perpetrator managed to flee again. Finally, thanks to another witness who had observed him, the police were able to arrest the man after a short hunt. He still had the crime tool with himself!
