Serious truck accident on A14: drivers caught and flown to the hospital!

On Wednesday, a serious truck accident occurred on the A14, in which a 37-year-old driver from Moldova was injured. The accident occurred shortly before the junction when the driver overlooked a backlog on a construction site and crashed into the rear of a truck in front of him. The man was caught in his driver's cab and had to be freed from the rescue workers. After the accident, he was flown to the hospital with a rescue helicopter.

The A14 was closed towards Schwerin for over two and a half hours, while the accident was taken up and the accident truck was towed. Fortunately, the driver of the second truck was unharmed and was able to continue his journey after the incident.
