When shopping in a supermarket on Friedensstraße, she had stowed her wallet in her rollator's side pocket. When she wanted to pay at the cash register, the wallet had disappeared without a trace - with valuable objects, including a bank card, ID documents and cash in the middle three -digit range.

The shock message followed quickly: when visiting a bank branch to block the card, the older lady found that the perpetrators had already struck.
