Color metal theft: the police strike brutally on Monday!

The Federal Police Inspection Magdeburg has arrested a 45-year-old man who is suspected of stealing colored metal in the Merseburg-Querfurt area. He apparently received support from a 43-year complicity. In the early morning of September 26, 2024, 41 officials searched the house of the two suspects in Frankleben at the order of the Halle public prosecutor (Saale).

During the search, the investigators not only found several crime tools, including bolt cutters, but also drugs, an electric shocker and other weapons, for which no permits presented. These finds were secured and handed over to the state police. The investigation due to the particularly severe case of theft continues to run.
