Border crossing Pomelle: Skip fraudsters, fines paid!
On the A11 motorway at the former border crossing Pomelle, federal police recently stopped several road users with open arrest warrants. A 37-year-old Ukrainian who was traveling with a car with a Ukrainian approval was searched for fraud. There were two arrest warrants: a fine of 450 euros or 15 days of replacement imprisonment as well as a attachment of 78.96 euros and 81 euros. After setting the fine, the man was released.
Another case concerned a 30-year-old Poland who was also sought for fraud by the Munich public prosecutor. He had to pay 1,500 euros and additional costs of 300 euros, otherwise a prison sentence of 50 days would have threatened. He too was allowed to continue his journey after paying his money sums. In addition, a 36-year-old Pole was sought from the scene of the accident for unauthorized removal and had to pay a total of 1,426.50 euros to avoid punishable. All three men were able to continue their way after settling their punishments.
