Motorcycle accident in Rübeland: Biker collides heavily with VW!

A dramatic accident shook the L 96 near Rübeland on October 5, 2024 when a 29-year-old motorcyclist from Schleswig-Holstein lost control in a right-hand bend. The young man, who was traveling with his BMW, came to the left of the road for unexplained reasons and crashed head-on into an oncoming VW, dangers from a 50-year-old woman, also from Schleswig-Holstein.

The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries in the violent impact and was admitted to the Harz Hospital Quedlinburg for outpatient treatment. The accident led to a considerable property damage of around 20,000 euros. The police of the Wernigerode district commissioner has already launched an administrative offense procedure against the cyclist.
