Poland arrested in Görlitz: Replacement prison sentence after a fine!

Görlitz, Deutschland - This morning a 34-year-old Pole was arrested by federal police officers at the city bridge in Görlitz. As part of the renewed border controls, the police came across his name, which was linked to an arrest warrant from the Düsseldorf public prosecutor.

The man had already been convicted of trespassing, insulting and canceling services and had to pay a fine of 2450 euros. Since he could not raise this sum, he will now serve his replacement imprisonment in a correctional facility.
