"Despite the widespread myth of East Germany as a pioneer in equality, we are confronted with reality: women earn less, work more often, are less often represented in management positions and will increasingly victims of sexual assault and bullying. These inequalities and discrimination must be revealed to create awareness of more equality," explains Kolbe.

Suggestions for the imbalance price can be submitted by August 10, 2024 via the specified link. The award ceremony will take place as part of the Dresden Equality Week on August 26 from 5:00 p.m. in the Volkshaus Dresden.
