Business in need: FDP calls for reforms for Schleswig-Holstein's future
Christian Dürr, chairman of the FDP parliamentary group, asked for comprehensive reforms for the business location of Germany during a visit to the Pelzgroup in Wahlstedt. Accompanied by Nora Grundmann and Robert Schörck, the FDP delegation discussed central topics such as the economic situation, infrastructure and the acquisition of specialists. According to Stadtmagazin-sh.de is the fur group with more than 75 years of history and looks at a portfolio, that includes cotton products, hygiene products as well as resource -saving foils and industrial non -woven fabrics.
Dürr underlined the decisive role of medium -sized companies for the economic strength of Germany. Grundmann in particular pointed out the challenges in securing skilled workers and training, which affect Schleswig-Holstein in particular. She emphasized the need to win young people for technical professions and to promote targeted immigration into the labor market. Schörck spoke about the importance of the further construction of the A20 in order to enable faster and cheaper goods transport. The FDP is also committed to reducing electricity tax on the European minimum and for falling network charges in the north.

In particular, industrial areas such as mechanical engineering, car manufacturers and IT are particularly affected. In almost two thirds of the companies, a reduction in bureaucratic burdens is desired, as reporting and documentation obligations burden the companies. In addition, 44 percent of companies require strengthening vocational training in order to be able to gain closely passing employees with dual vocational training. A third party of the companies would like relief in the employment of foreign staff, since the offers are not sufficient nationally.
