Trier, Deutschland - 850 enthusiastic spectators celebrated the piano cabaret artist Bodo Wartke in Trier, who has caused a sensation for almost 27 years with his rousing stage programs. He also attracts younger fans through his internet hit "Barbara's rhubarb", together with the multi-talent Marti Fischer. With around 100 appearances a year, the 47-year-old Schleswig-Holsteiner achieved around 80,000 people, although his presence on television has so far been rather limited.

WARTKE not only enthusiastic about his audience with a wit and language games such as "Barbaras rhubarb" and "The thick roofer", but also offers political messages and virtuoso piano playing.
