Locking of the B77: Start optimization measures on the Rendsburg Canal tunnel!

From Monday evening to Tuesday morning, the B77 is closed due to optimization measures for height control at the Rendsburg Canal tunnel. The State Road Construction and Transport of Schleswig-Holstein (LBV.SH) announced that the work will start at 9 p.m. and continue until 5 a.m. These measures aim to enable drivers who do not want to drive through the tunnel to drive through while trucks trigger the height control.

The blocking affects the section between the Rendsburg-Mitte descent and driveway towards the south, and a detour is set up. This measure is part of the preparations for so -called optimization level 2, which is to be tackled in the first quarter of 2025. Regular triggering of the height control always lead to waiting times, which has caused companies in the region to contact the prime minister in order to find solutions.
