300,000 euros less for Gschwend - what does that mean for the community?
The past meeting of the Gschwend municipal council brought drastic news for the community. According to the current population, the population must be corrected from 4921 to 4641 - a decline of 300 people. This decline in population is expected to reduce the compensation means that GSchwend receives from the state per inhabitant. The municipality will therefore be available to around 300,000 euros less in the future.
The future of the household
This financial loss will have a direct impact on planning the community budget. However, Mayor Christoph Hald emphasizes that the community is well positioned for the next five years. Despite this challenge, important projects such as the development of construction and commercial areas as well as broadband expansion should be promoted as planned.
effects on the municipal council
The constituent meeting of the local council also brought about personnel changes. Ten of the previous members were re -elected, while nine people left. Another eight members were added with two new election proposals and a ratio election. As deputy mayor, Karl Altvater was again unanimously elected.
wind power plan and regional development
Another important topic was the wind power plan of the regional association Ostwürttemberg. There are currently no wind turbines in the municipal area of Gschwend. However, there is concern that adjacent neighboring municipalities are driving plans for the construction of wind turbines. The municipal council urges the fact that at least 1000 meters of at least 1000 meters are observed to the systems in order to minimize potential effects on GSchwend.
Overall, despite financial losses and decline in population, Gschwend are faced with a variety of challenges that require careful planning and forward -looking measures.
