Visitor record in the AWZ Schweinfurt: This is how bio -waste is really disposed of!
In the district of Schweinfurt, the Rothmühle Waste Management Center (AWZ) experienced an open house on the show, which attracted numerous visitors. Almost 140 interested people flocked to the facility to learn more about the innovative preparation of organic waste and the entire disposal system. This event aims to make waste separation and waste recycling tangible for everyone, and informed the participants about the optimal use of the biotonne - plastic packaging, even bio -degradable, are taboo! Here, in particular, newspaper or paper bags are the best choice.
Deputy District Administrator Bettina Bärmann paid tribute to the pioneering role of the district, which introduced the bio bin more than 35 years ago. This inspection not only gave a look behind the scenes, but also offered the opportunity to directly ask questions to the experts of the AWZ. The campaign should raise awareness of proper waste separation and was a real crowd puller. There is more information about this at revista.de .
