New interactive exhibition "Life in the Middle Ages" in the Museum Barockscheune Volkach

From August 2 to November 1, 2024, visitors to the Museum Barockscheune Volkach can experience the fascinating exhibition “Life in the Middle Ages”. Under the motto "Around the Castle", the district of Lower Franconia presents themed islands and hands -on stations that clearly represent everyday life in medieval castles.

The exhibition is aimed at children, families, school classes and everyone interested who want to get an entertaining insight into history. The official opening will take place on Sunday, August 4th at 5 p.m. Anne Kraft from the Lower Franconia district will lead visitors through the exhibition. Interested parties can register for the opening at karin.kraus@volkach.de.

The head of the Baroque barn, Margit Hofmann, is pleased with the cooperation with the Lower Franconian Cultural Foundation of the district of Lower Franconia and the Museum of Franconia. The special exhibition promises to become a special experience for all ages and cordially invites you to visit.

Opening times of the Museum Barockscheune Volkach: Fridays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
